Guide Dogs for the Blind

Guide Dogs for the Blind creates profound partnerships between blind people and their specially trained dog to improve quality of life and help unleash the potential in both of them. Established in 1942, Guide Dogs for the Blind is the leading provider of guide dogs and training in their use to visually impaired people in North America. Our programs are made possible through the teamwork of staff, volunteers and generous donors. Services are provided to qualified applicants from the United States and Canada at no cost to them.
